When PT Bitratex Industries set out to build its world-class textile manufacturing facility in Semarang in 1982, PT Wijaya Kusuma Contractor was chosen to lead the construction. Executing a heavy industrial project of this scale four decades ago meant overcoming significant technical constraints and working with the limited machinery of the era. Despite these challenges, WKC demonstrated exceptional engineering resourcefulness, constructing an expansive facility spanning 9.980 m2 featuring a wide-span structural framework that maximized open operational space for heavy spinning machinery.
PT Bitratex Industries plant in 1982 remains a testament to WKC’s enduring legacy of technical resilience and uncompromising quality, regardless of the era or operational constraints.
